Mullins’ staying stars on Doncaster Cup hunt

Irish Jumps trainer Willie Mullins has entered two of his stable stars in Clondaw Warrior and Simenon to contest the Group 2 Socialites E-Cigarettes Expert Doncaster Cup on Town Moor this Friday.

Mullins may be more familiar with the winners’ enclosure at Cheltenham rather than Doncaster, but he has tasted plenty of Flat success this season and will bid to win a second QIPCO British Champions Series race in the final staying race of the division before QIPCO British Champions Day.

The duo are joined by Sir Mark Prescott’s William of Orange and Pallasator, as well as the Marco Botti-trained Tac De Boistron and Suegioo among the 12 entries.
