Frankel merchandise goes on sale

The Frankel sports cap, part of the official Frankel range of merchandise launching tomorrow.

A range of official Frankel merchandise goes on sale tomorrow as the world’s highest-rated racehorse gears up for race eleven in his electrifying, unbeaten career in the first race at Royal Ascot, the Queen Anne Stakes.

All profits will go to EACH, the East Anglian Children’s Hospice, a charity chosen by Frankel’s trainer, Sir Henry Cecil.

Launched by Juddmonte Farms, the merchandise comprises a ‘T’ shirt recording his ten victories to date, a jacket, polo shirt, mug, cap and enamel badge, all with a special Frankel logo created by Juddmonte. Further items are in the pipeline.

QIPCO British Champions Series are providing an outlet for the merchandise which will go on sale tomorrow morning via its Amazon shop with links from the new Frankel website, frankel.juddmonte.com, and from the British Champions Series website.

The merchandise will also be on sale at all British Champions Series racedays, although at this week’s Royal Meeting the Series shop will be located by the Ascot train station, just a short walk from the track.

“Frankel has already taken on legendary status in our sport, so I am sure that this range of merchandise will prove very popular, especially as EACH is such a worth charity,” said British Champions Series Chief Executive, Rod Street.

“We are delighted to be assisting Juddmonte with this venture and would like to commend their new Frankel website which gives a wonderful insight into his early months in Ireland and with Sir Henry at Warren Place, as well as providing a great record of his career to date.

“We are so fortunate to have such a remarkable horse to help promote British racing around the globe. He has already won five QIPCO British Champions Series races with every chance of adding another four before the season is out – that would be a truly extraordinary achievement.”
