Impressive Royal Ascot victor No Nay Never has concluded his campaign this year with the 2014 St James’s Palace Stakes and the QIPCO 2,000 Guineas at the top of his agenda for next season.

The two-year-old colt, who broke the track record winning the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes at the Royal meeting, is unbeaten as a juvenile, winning in three different countries.

However, No Nay Never’s trainer, Wesley Ward, believes that his superstar deserves a well-earned break before embarking on a potentially rewarding campaign in Britain throughout 2014.

Ward told the Racing Post: “We’ve got big plans for him next year and it’s nice to give him a break while he’s sound and has no issues. This way we’ll have a healthy tiger for next year.

"The ultimate goal would be the St James’s Palace Stakes and we’ll work from there backwards.

“I wouldn’t rule out the Guineas. A straight mile at Newmarket in early May would be beautiful, but we’d get a run into him first to see where we’re at.

“We are already excited about coming back."

No Nay Never, who was last seen winning the Group 1 Prix Morny in Deauville, is part-owned by Coolmore.
