Super 16 set for Investec Derby

The Investec Derby is staged on Saturday 6 June and 16 contenders go forward for the premier Classic following the scratchings deadline. Staged over the famous undulating course of Epsom Downs, the Group 1 contest is Britain’s richest race with a prize fund of at least £1.325 million.

Golden Horn, trained by John Gosden, is the current favourite for the Investec Derby, but is not currently entered in the British Classic and is expected to be added to the line-up at the £75,000 supplementary entry stage on Monday 1 June.

Elm Park, Zawraq and Jack Hobbs are joined by QIPCO 2000 Guineas hero Gleneagles and stable mates Giovanni Canaletto and Kilimanjaro.
