A number of expected challengers for the Group 1 QIPCO British Champions Sprint Stakes on Champions Day are among the 17 declared for the Betfred Sprint Cup at Haydock Park this weekend.
Last year’s champion, G Force, and runner-up, Gordon Lord Byron, line up for the contest against a selection of three-year-old sprinters that include Charlie Hills’ Magical Memory, Dewhurst Stakes winner Belardo and fancied speedster Adaay.
Michael Appleby’s Danzeno and Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes third Mattmu also feature, alongside QIPCO British Champions Series stalwart Sole Power – who will again be ridden by Chris Hayes. Champion Apprentice contender Jack Garritty is on board Eastern Impact.
