Jack Hobbs looks increasingly likely to head to the QIPCO Champion Stakes on QIPCO British Champions Day, after being supported into favouritism for the Ascot contest on Saturday 17 October.
John Gosden’s star, who finished second to Golden Horn in the Investec Derby before winning the Irish equivalent, is being prepared for the race with stable mate Golden Horn another possible contender at the Berkshire-track.
Connections have seemingly opted for the Group 1 contest, which owners Godolphin won in 2013 with Farhh, after he was backed into 3/1 favourite from 7/1 over the weekend.
Jack Hobbs is likely to come up against Free Eagle, Postponed and Time Test in a competitive renewal of the QIPCO Champion Stakes.
