Investec Derby hero Frankie Dettori has been crowned the 2015 Longines Worlds’ Best Jockey Award, beating American Grand Slam jockey Victor Espinoza and last year’s winner Ryan Moore.
The 2015 Longines World’s Best Jockey won five of world’s top 100 Group or Grade 1 races – of which four were won on QIPCO British Champions Series legend Golden Horn. Undrafted’s Diamond Jubilee Stakes triumph signaled his fifth top-level success in the top 100 contests.
The Italian master, who starred in our QIPCO British Champions Day promotional video, has been recognised at a ceremony in Hong Kong.
