Celebrating Horse Racing’s Heroes
Sigala, who topped the charts in 2015 with his debut single, ‘Easy Love’, will headline the after-party at this year’s QIPCO British Champions Day, at Ascot racecourse on Saturday 15th October.
The DJ and producer will be performing his chart-topping tunes at festivals across Europe over the summer, including V and Sundown, before treating racegoers to an exclusive set on the UK’s richest raceday. The official after-party will kick off immediately following racing making it a day of non-stop entertainment on and off the track.
Sigala, who in the last year has released three major UK singles in just seven months, selling over 2 million records worldwide, will be performing at a racecourse for the first time. He said; “Performing at Champions Day is a pretty unique opportunity, it’s going to be a new experience for me and a lot of fun. It’s the end of season party so I am sure there will be an amazing atmosphere. Radio 2 DJ Sara Cox is also performing and I know she is really into her horses so I’m going to have to hit her up for some tips. ”’

Now in its sixth year, QIPCO British Champions Day is the biggest day in the flat racing calendar and the must attend social event of the autumn.
BBC Radio 2 DJ and horse-racing fan Sara Cox will also be playing earlier in the day. Sara said ““I DJ’d at Champions Day a couple of years ago and had an absolute blast so I’m really excited to be back again this year.”
With over £4.2 million in prize money and some of the world’s best horses and jockeys battling it out on track, QIPCO British Champions Day is the finale to the Flat racing season where the champions of the sport are crowned.
