Enable and Major Dick Hern inducted into British Racing Hall of Fame

Enable and Major Dick Hern are the latest inductees to the British Horseracing Hall of Fame, with their induction ceremony having taken place on QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot Racecourse on October 18th.

ENABLE

Enable excelled over the course of five seasons and today we acknowledge her sustained brilliance and haul of 11 Group 1 triumphs by inducting her into British Racing’s Hall of Fame. Owned by the late Prince Khalid Abdullah’s Juddmonte Farms and trained by John Gosden, the daughter of Nathaniel won 15 of her 19 races between 2016 and 2020, with the majority being achieved at the highest level. The bay filly, a Juddmonte Farms homebred, made history by winning an unprecendeted three editions of the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot, and is also one of only eight horses to gain two triumphs in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.
