BCS TV presented by the Armchair Jockeys today delivers its latest instalment, previewing four cracking QIPCO British Champions Series contests at the Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival at York, which starts with a bang on Wednesday with the Juddmonte International Stakes.

Frankel will be stepping up to middle distances for the first time in his unbeaten career in that contest and we hear from Lord Grimthorpe, racing manager to Frankel’s owner, Prince Khalid Abdulla, who believes that the time is right for a crack at ten furlongs for the world’s best racehorse.

We also hear from Simon Crisford, who believes that Farhh will enjoy returning to a longer trip after chasing home Frankel over a mile in the QIPCO Sussex Stakes at Goodwood last time out.

There’s expert analysis from regular pundits Rishi Persad, Lydia Hislop and Steve Mellish on the Juddmonte International, race six in the QIPCO British Champions Series Middle Distance category, and Thursday’s Darley Yorkshire Oaks, race six in the Fillies & Mares division, before a great interview with trainer David Barron.

The Yorkshire trainer is about to unleash his unbeaten sprinter, Pearl Secret, on his first Group 1 assignment in Friday’s Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes, race five in the Sprint category and there is no doubting how highly he rates his stable star.

We also hear from Richard Fahey, who saddled Mayson to win the most recent Series sprint, the Darley July Cup, before attention turns to the latest showdown for the stayers, Saturday’s Weatherbys Insurance Lonsadale Cup.

Race four in the Long Distance division sees interviews with Simon Crisford on the chances of Godolphin’s Cavalryman and trainer Luca Cumani on his challenger, Ibicenco.
