Black Caviar fever swept Syndey over the weekend and the World’s top sprinter didn’t disappoint as she took her unbeaten run to 25 in the Darley T J Smith Stakes at Randwick.

The Australian wonder mare was cheered on by fans who had been queuing from the early hours and she was always handy under regular pilot Luke Nolen after breaking well from stall one. Approaching the final furlong Nolen eased his mount to the front to record another smooth success and one that took her into the Australian record books for the most consecutive Group 1 triumphs.

”I’m just really pleased she’s put on a hell of a show for such a big crowd that’s come out here. Sydney haven’t had the pleasure of her as much as Victoria, and I am just really proud to bring her on the road,” Peter Moody told www.theage.com.au. "I get to enjoy her every day, and I get great pleasure in other people getting to enjoy her. For her to bring the show to Randwick is terrific. A great crowd have really taken to her here today, as has been the case everywhere she’s gone.”

Moody is due to sit down with Black Caviar’s owners this week to decide where the world’s leading race mare heads next, though initial reports after her most recent victory suggest that this has been narrowed down to three options. She could head to Royal Ascot in an attempt to land back-to-back Diamond Jubilees, though options back at home, such as the Goodwood at Adelaide or the BTC Cup at Brisbane’s Queensland Carnival, are also being considered.
