Ascot’s premium enclosure, the King Edward VII enclosure is the perfect place to realise the Ultimate Raceday experience on QIPCO British Champions Day . With access to all public areas of the racecourse, including the grandstand seating on the fourth floor, this enclosure provides an all encompassing experience that is sure to live long in the memory. This is the ideal area for the racegoer looking for a full and comprehensive experience.
Ladies are required to dress for a smart summer occasion. Millinery is not compulsory but hats and headpieces are encouraged.
Do Wear: A dress, suit or jumpsuit with a hat or headpiece
Don’t Wear: Trainers are not allowed. Fancy dress, novelty attire and sportswear are also not permitted
Gentlemen are required to dress for a smart summer occasion and must wear a jacket, collared shirt and tie. Examples of acceptable attire include but are not limited to:
Do Wear: Tailored trousers with a jacket, collared shirt and tie.
Don’t Wear: Trainers are not allowed. Fancy dress, novelty attire and sportswear are also not permitted.
Juniors aged 17 and under should adhere to the Dress Code, however this does not apply to very young children (babies and toddlers).
Fancy Dress, Novelty Clothing and Sports Attire are not permitted to be worn in any enclosure at Ascot.
QIPCO British Champions Day is the single best day of racing in Britain, with some of the best equine and human athletes taking to the track. The day consists of four Group 1 races (the best calibre of race there is) and one Group 2 race (the second best calibre of race). The horses and jockeys will compete over different distances to take home their share of £4 million prize money at the Ultimate Raceday.
