BRIT Award-winning artist Paloma Faith has been announced as the special guest DJ at QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot on Saturday 17 October.
The singer, who was crowned Best Female Solo Artist at the awards ceremony earlier this year, will headline the official after party once racing has finished on Britain’s richest raceday.
She said: “I’m excited to be DJing at the amazing Ascot racecourse and will be getting the crowd up on their feet and dancing after they’ve enjoyed all the action on track. I’m hoping that some of them will be able to give me some racing tips on the day too.”
To celebrate today’s announcement, racegoers can purchase Grandstand tickets for both the racing and after party for just £20, saving 20%. The offer expires on Tuesday 30th June at midnight.
With over £4million in prize money and featuring a card that boasts four Group 1 races, QIPCO British Champions Day is the finale to the flat racing season where, for the first time this year, the winner of the Stobart Flat Jockeys’ Championship will be crowned in front of a large crowd and live on Channel 4.
Paloma will also be appearing at Glastonbury, T in the Park and V Festival this summer.
