Frankel’s 11-length demolition of his rivals in the Queen Anne Stakes, which earned him the highest official rating for a racehorse in more than 25 years, unsurprisingly saw the unbeaten superstar run out a comprehensive winner of the second QIPCO British Champions Series Performance of the Month vote.

Camelot’s Investec Derby triumph short-headed Frankel’s JLT Lockinge Stakes win last month, but this time it was Frankel by a distance, garnering 85.8% of the vote.

Black Caviar’s brave Diamond Jubilee win was in second place with 7.4% and So You Think’s swansong in the Prince of Wales’s Stakes received the remaining 6.8% of the vote.

The shortlist of three performances from the seven races at Royal Ascot was selected by five expert panellists, who were unanimous in selecting Frankel’s Queen Anne as their top performance – Michael Owen, Lee Mottershead, Alex Hammond, Cornelius Lysaght and Nick Luck.

All voters automatically enter a free prize draw to win a pair of tickets to a future QIPCO British Champions Series raceday. This month’s winner is Ben Stores.

The next vote will open after Glorious Goodwood.
