There is just one week to go until the spectacular Frankel takes to the track as the star attraction at QIPCO British Champions Day on Saturday 20th October at Ascot. And for those racing fans already chomping at the bit to see the World’s greatest racehorse one last time, there is a special 90-second video of some of his most iconic moments to keep them enthralled over the coming days.
Unbeaten in 13 starts, the video showcases his sensational obliteration of the field in the QIPCO 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket, before cantering through several of his other scintillating performances including this season’s opener at Newbury, his demolition job in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot and his imperious run at York in the Juddmonte International.
Rod Street, Chief Executive of British Champions Series said, “With sports fans across the country counting down the days until QIPCO British Champions Day and the climax of the flat racing season, this video gives them a much-needed Frankel-fix to whet the appetite before, what is likely to be, his last race. Tickets sold out in September but you can still tune in on Saturday 20th to watch all the action live as racing history is made.”
