Hong Kong champion Able Friend, Al Shaqab Lockinge Stakes winner Night of Thunder and QIPCO 2000 Guineas hero Gleneagles are among the star-studded 39 entries for the Qatar Sussex Stakes at the Qatar Goodwood Festival on Wednesday 29 July.
The Group 1 contest, which was won last year by Champions Series star Kingman, has attracted runners from across the world, including French miler Karaktonie, Australian hopeful Criterion and a plethora of contenders from Aidan O’Brien’s Ballydoyle stable.
Leading Irish fillies Lucida and Found have been entered alongside Series heroine Integral to take on the boys at the Sussex Downs course.
