Aidan O’Brien’s one-time British Classic antepost favourite Found has been confirmed as an intended runner in the Coronation Stakes on Friday at Royal Ascot, after 9 were declared for the Group 1 contest.

Second in the Irish 1000 Guineas to Pleascach, the leading Ballydoyle filly will be looking to realise her potential in the fillies’ mile race at the Royal meeting under the current Stobart Jockeys’ Championship leading jockey Ryan Moore, who is fresh from an opening day 54/1 treble.

However, Found is set to come under stiff competition from a number of top-class fillies, including the QIPCO 1000 Guineas runner-up Lucida.

Jim Bolger’s three-year-old was narrowly thwarted by the exploits of Legatissimo in the Rowley Mile British Classic, but she will be looking for redemption in the Coronation Stakes.

French raider Ervedya and Martyn Meade’s Irish Rookie also feature in the competitive renewal.

Coronation Stakes declarations:

Arabian Queen, Ervedya, Found, Irish Rookie, Local Time, Lucida, Miss Temple City, Sperry and Yasmeen.
