Golden Horn bids to join Nashwan with remarkable treble

Golden Horn could become the first horse since Nashwan to win the Investec Derby, Coral-Eclipse and King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes treble after being entered amongst the 16 contenders for the Ascot contest.

John Gosden’s star, who will be hoping to win the race for the third time in five years for his handler after Nathaniel and Taghrooda were successful at the Berkshire venue, has been entered alongside a plethora of QIPCO British Champions Series stars.

Investec Oaks heroine Qualify, Sir Michael Stoute’s Telescope and Champions Day heroine Madame Chiang are engaged at the entry stage, alongside French raiders Flintshire and Dolniya.
