Golden Horn on course for racing history at Ascot

Golden Horn will look to enter the racing record books with a unique achievement at Ascot this weekend after he was entered alongside 10 rivals for the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

John Gosden’s star – who could become the first horse ever to win the Dante Stakes, Investec Derby, Coral-Eclipse and King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes – lines up against a competitive field of contenders that will be hoping to derail his unbeaten career thus far.

Stablemates Eagle Top and Romsdal are also set for the Berkshire track, alongside Sir Michael Stoute’s Royal Ascot-winning pair, Telescope and Snow Sky.

The European raiders are likely to come in the form of French QIPCO British Champions Series star Flintshire, Dylan Mouth travels from Italy to race at Ascot.
