When Frankie Met Sara

Ahead of the 20th anniversary of Frankie Dettori’s Magnificent 7 this Wednesday, 28th September, Britain’s most recognisable jockey took a drive down memory lane with QIPCO British Champion Series ambassador and BBC Radio 2 presenter Sara Cox, to relive the day on which he made history.

In an exclusive chat, Frankie recalls how he became the only person in horse racing to have ever won all seven races on a card, reminiscing: “In all the things that I did in my career, if I have to pick one thing that I’ll remember, then it’s winning those seven races at Ascot.”
