Ella Eyre and Jax Jones to headline QIPCO British Champions Day

Ella and Jax, both from London, have risen to the top of the music game over recent years and currently boast over 17 million monthly Spotify listeners between them.

Ella Eyre shot to fame in 2013, featuring on Rudimental’s No.1 hit ‘Waiting All Night’ which was named Single of the Year at the 2014 Brit Awards and she has since picked up numerous accolades including Best Female at the MOBO Awards in 2015.

Her latest single with Banx & Ranx featuring Yxng Bane ‘Answerphone’ peaked at No.5 in the UK charts, and earlier this year she supported The Script on their UK tour which included two stand-out performances at the O2 Arena.

Jax Jones’ breakthrough came back in 2014, when he co-produced “I Got U” with fellow DJ & Producer, Duke Dumont, a track that reached No.1 in the UK Singles Chart.

In 2016, he released his single ‘You Don’t Know Me’ which peaked at No.3 in the UK charts and within the top five in multiple charts across Europe including in Germany, Belgium and Norway.

Jones has had a busy summer, playing at some of Europe’s biggest festivals, along with a summer residency in Ibiza that saw him play the opening day of the Radio 1 Weekend.

Ella Eyre said, “I’m absolutely buzzing to be playing QIPCO British Champions Day. It’s looking like an action-packed day of sport and entertainment, and I’m so excited to bring the day to a close.”

Speaking of the announcement, Jax Jones said, “I can’t wait for Saturday 20th October! Ascot racecourse is one of the most historic sporting venues in Britain and one to tick-off my bucket list. Bring your dancing shoes, because I promise to bring the ultimate after-party to the ultimate raceday!”

QIPCO British Champions Day is the richest raceday in Britain with a record-braking £4.35million in prize money up for grabs. It marks the big finale of the flat racing season where some of the finest horses and jockeys from around the world will be battling it out to be crowned Champion.

Demand for tickets is high and fans are urged to secure their tickets now to avoid disappointment. Prices start from £35 for adults and under 18s attend for free when accompanied by an adult.
