Quadrilateral shaping up nicely for QIPCO 1000 Guineas tilt

Last season’s Fillies’ Mile winner has headed the ante-post market for the QIPCO 1000 Guineas showpiece ever since claiming victory in the juvenile Group One on Newmarket’s Rowley mile.

The QIPCO 1000 Guineas is now slated to be run on Sunday June 7th and forms the third leg of a QIPCO British Champions Series triple header, with the Coronation Cup and 2000 Guineas due to take place on the preceding two days at the Suffolk venue.

Wiltshire-based handler Charlton gave a positive update on his precocious inmate when speaking to Sky Sports Racing, “I think she’s wintered very well really. She came into training quite late last year and she was always a well-grown, strong filly.

“She hasn’t actually grown much, but she has put on weight, she weighs 500 kilos now, which is quite a lot for a three-year-old filly. She’s very easy to train and obviously her saw her progress well and she toughed it out I thought to win the Group 1 (Fillies’ Mile) at the end of the year.”
